For the pilater strip we calculated the risk of torsional lateral buckling. Also we performed the statical analysis for the limit load of the strip and developed the verifications for usability.
The cross section of the strip was idealized using 3d-shell elements. Considering the imperfections according to the german standards the stresses, strains and deformations were calculated for the nonlinear geometry (Th.II.O.). The verification for stability were led evaluating the eigenvalues .
