During the reconstruction at the facade of a 6 storied building the scaffold collapsed during the operation of the integrated elevator. The collapse started with the column of the elevator. The upper anchorage of this column was temporary moved one story downwards and finally removed completely. Probably an adjacent anchorage could not transfer forces, because it was placed near the cutout for a lintel.
We had to evaluate if the lack in the anchorage was the reason for the collapse or if the collapse also could have been happened with a correct assembling. For both situations we had to consider the influence of a hooking elevator-bucket.
