Bell-Gasholder

Description

A bell-gasholder essentially consists of a water-filled basin, a bell and a guidance-frame with stairs. The bell-bottom is guided radially by the water-rollers to the guide-rails of the basin and near the roof-cornice to the stanchions of the guidance-frame. Ballast weights at the lower edge of the bell are used to generate the planned internal pressure. The gas in- and outlet is given with a pipe passing the bottom of the basin and exceeding the upmost water level in the basin.

Activity

Design and calculation of the whole gasholder including all necessary details. We are able to idealize the complete gasholder including the rollers with their radial guidance and gap.
