The mobile working towers have a height of 2.5m to 12m (inside buildings) and 2.5m to 8.0m (outside of buildings). Depending on the design and load situation, the mobile working towers must be ballasted to ensure positional safety (sliding and tilting). The frames are positioned directly above spindles, indirectly above base-units or use scaffolding supports to increase safety against tilting. Placed in front of a wall, the towers may be supported horizontally for compression only. The working level may be enlarged using consoles.
Type statics of mobile working towers. For towers outside of buildings reduced wind loads may be considered, if it is ensured that the tower is timely moved to wind protected areas of if other suitable actions are made to ensure positional safety.
